Effective date: October 20, 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to the Social Studio OS app, the Help assistant, support, and the Social Studio OS Community. We want this to be a good place to learn and grow, so these are simple agreements.
How we show up here
- Be kind and respectful. Disagree with ideas, never with people.
- Share what you know and ask for what you need. No question is too small.
- Keep private things private. Do not share other members' information, or your clients' confidential details.
- Share, don't sell. Introduce yourself, tell us what you do, and share your wins. Please do not pitch your services or products to other members, in posts, comments or direct messages. Putting your website on your member profile is fine.
- Everyone here is sharing experience, not professional, legal, tax, financial or medical advice. Results vary from person to person.
What you may not do
You may not use the Service, the Help assistant, or the community to:
- publish anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful;
- violate someone's privacy, or share personal information about others without a right to;
- spam, mislead, or send unsolicited promotions, including to members by direct message;
- impersonate a person or business, or misstate your relationship with us;
- break the rules of a connected platform, or publish at a volume or in a manner that gets accounts flagged;
- upload malware, or try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
- copy, scrape, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Service, or share the non-public workings of the platform;
- misuse the AI features or Help assistant, for example by trying to extract prompts, credentials, source code or other users' information, or to bypass its safeguards;
- run a business that is primarily adult content, gambling, illegal goods or services, or weapons sales.
If you promote us
If you recommend Social Studio OS publicly (for example in a post, a video or a talk) and you receive anything of value for doing so, such as a discount, a free or extended membership, or any other benefit, you must say so clearly and where people will see it (for example "I'm a member and may receive a benefit if you join"). Say only what is true about your own experience. Do not promise results.
Reporting and enforcement
If something does not feel right, email info@mcfarlanemarketing.com, or use the report option in the community. If someone breaks these rules, we may remove the content, send a warning, limit community access, pause or end the membership, or take other steps we think are appropriate. Serious violations may lead to immediate removal without a warning. We do not refund fees when access is ended for a violation. If you believe we made a mistake, tell us and we will take another look.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content in the Service or community infringes your copyright, email info@mcfarlanemarketing.com with the details (what the work is, where the content is, and your contact information) and we will review it and act as appropriate.
