Billing, Refund & Cancellation Policy
McFarlane Marketing · Social Studio OS

Effective date: October 20, 2026

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It explains, in plain language, how billing works, how to cancel, and our no-refund policy. Please read it before you subscribe.

The short version

  • Memberships renew automatically each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • We do not give refunds for the current or past billing periods, including partial months and unused time.
  • We will fix billing mistakes, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after a cancellation that was made in time.

1. Billing

Prices, what is included, and the billing period are shown at checkout. Your first charge is made when you subscribe. After that, your payment method is charged automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Prices shown are in U.S. dollars, and any sales tax or similar tax that applies is added where the law requires. Receipts are emailed to you by our payment provider.

2. Monthly and annual plans

  • Monthly plans renew every month on the same date.
  • Annual plans, where offered, are billed once for the year at the discounted annual price shown at checkout, and renew every year on the same date unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Cancelling an annual plan stops the next renewal. Your access continues until the end of the year you paid for. We do not refund the unused part of a year.

3. How to cancel

Cancel from your subscription in your community account, or email info@mcfarlanemarketing.com from the email address on the account and we will cancel it for you. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. After you cancel, you keep access until the period you paid for ends, and then your workspace is paused (see Section 15 of the Terms).

4. No refunds

Because access to the Service, the community and the training starts as soon as you subscribe, all payments are final and non-refundable, including for partial months, unused time, annual plans, plan downgrades, and workspaces that were paused or ended for breaking our Terms. This does not limit any rights you have under the law that cannot be waived.

5. Billing errors

If you were charged twice, charged an amount that does not match your checkout, or charged after you cancelled in time, email us within sixty (60) days of the charge and we will correct it or refund the error.

6. Failed payments

If a payment fails, our payment provider may retry it. If it still cannot be collected, your membership is paused until the payment is made. Updating your payment method restores access to your paused workspace; your information is kept as described in the Terms.

7. Founding pricing and Friends & Family

  • Founding members keep their founding price for the first twelve (12) months, as set out in Section 5 of the Terms. The same no-refund and cancellation rules apply.
  • Members who joined through a private program follow the program terms we gave them. The same no-refund and cancellation rules apply.

8. Price changes

We may change prices for future billing periods. We will email the workspace administrator at least thirty (30) days before a new price applies to you. If you do not want the new price, cancel before it takes effect. Founding pricing is handled as described in the Terms.

9. Disputes about charges

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card company. We respond quickly and can usually fix a real problem the same day. Your membership may be paused while a charge is under dispute.

10. Managed Services

Managed Services clients are billed under their own written agreement, which controls over this policy.
